While the annual burst of wildflowers mark the arrival of Spring, the season also heralds a slew of outdoor, sporting, music and artistic events in Western Australia.

There are more than 12,000 species of wildflowers in Western Australia, with more than 60 per cent of these species found nowhere else in the world. Each year, from June (in the north) until November (in the south), they bring a spectacle of colour and scent that needs to be experienced to be believed.
